The town of Leadville is an old mining town in Colorado. The people there have obviously treasured some of the historical buildings, the saloon being one of them. No doubt there are many interesting tales of events which took place in this hotel.
The Silver Dollar Saloon opened as The Board of Trade Saloon in 1880 and Doc Holliday shot (but didn’t kill) his last man in Leadville.
The 70 square blocks of Leadville is designated “A National Historic Landmark District”.
