Artist's Description

Dumpster – Best viewed LARGER. I love the hidden colors that only emerge when you get in close with a macro. I was shooting this on a Saturday afternoon, trying to be inconspicuous about hanging around a mall dumpster but no such luck. A homeless man wanted to know what I was doing, got intrigued, and finally asked me for money. Then a middle aged guy walking home with his groceries looked at me in stunned amazement – “what the heck are you doing?” – Oh, just taking some photos I said nonchalantly … with a look of pity he shook his head and walked off saying “to each his own”…
