Black and White photography, table top , studio lightingIlford photo paper. Ilford film…Processed myself.Balls bouncing out of a cup onto checked floorThis was fun to do ..the light comes from a different direction so you don’t get a shadow.

This was tabletop photography, studio lighting…it was basicly set up the same way my sax was…But I had to create an illustion…the checked floor and the white are all one piece….so the marbles on the white are on the white paper that makes them look like there airborn. The strobe light came through plexiglass from the opposite side of the camera at F8 at a 60th….I always use a tripod…The larger balls are lightbulbs…the other marbles , little rubber balls and gum…Not having shadows creates the illution. the cup had a pencil stuck in it and into the paper where you couldn’t see it about 2in..off the paper. With out shadows it creates an illusion..there is no photo inhancement or any use of photo shop..just black and white film.

    A risky trying..
    and a good result.
    Fascination is the right word.
Mind clean… the abscence of shadows…gives it an even more dreaming mood.
