The paper is Coquille .cold press.2ply..it has a stiple surface and gives me a softer look to my work…also no surprises in the paper…It is the paper I usually use 22”X30”
I used graphite from 2H to 9B applying in coats from light to dark…
I tried to get as much light as possible in this piece This piece was in the top ten comp. “friends”

Yes I do all the time…it has to be a good one though..I like to get as much detail as possible and if there is light on one side of te face it is better because light and contrast create depth.
