You have captured the true essence of his soul Margaret. I had the great privilege of being in this elder’s presence several times at First Nation’s gatherings. Looking in his eyes was looking into the past, present and future all at one time. His voice was like a symphony of nature. When I sang to him, my soul was filled with so much emotion, I felt like I was no longer in my body, but off in some other amazing sphere. Your portrait of this honorable man has started my day off in a glorius mood. Thanks!
