...Child on a ride at the park laughing 22×30 …work was done on Coquille paper…it has a stiple surface and it is my paper of choice usually..Helps me get the soft effect I want.. I like to capture all of my subject in different ways..To be able to see a part of that person and who they are.. I also like to capture movement to bring it to life. This was a commissioned portrait….This was a fun piece and she was so cute and just a little monkey…I didn’t want to give her back to her parents..I was really happy with my composition and is one of my favourit works….I use this image as my signature piece on my cards because I do a lot of commissioned portraits of children and in my personal work as well. The colors I use in my work are also a type of signature because it is part of my style..people recognize my work this way.
