    I think it´s a very popular bench. A bicyclist and an elderly lady both stopped and sat down while I was taking pictures of the surroundings. They couldn´t resist, I guess. Thanks a lot for your comment, Ideiter! :-)))

    Thank you, Jellybean, it´s one of my favorite spots when I come to the town close-by! The day I took the picture it was a little chilly, though, and several people couldn´t resist having a seat, but then got up after a while freezing

    Indeed, in winter one really needs to seize the day as sunlight hours are rare, but the immaculateness of fresh snow covering everything in white is just beautiful…. and can compensate for a lot, can’t it? :-)

    i live in the mt,s so winter comes early and stays long-so yes- the first snows are fine but by march- i am ready to sceam haha-i live in klamath falls oregon at 4,100 feet- we have snow on the mt,s till june some tim es haha alsoi am no kid any more-so walking is dangerious and driving -forget it , haha-but you are right -the fall colors are magic and delightfully wonderful to see

    Oh, I totally understand that! Half a year of snow is too much! Over here you don’t get much snow but rather lots of greyish muddy snow-water-mix which makes you long for the white at least a while! :-)...... I guess Oregon is beautiful but harsh and not comparable to this…. how are the summers in your state?
