One sure way to lose another woman’s friendship is to try to improve her flower arrangements!

An idea for a still life flower arrangement inspired by Elizabeth Kendall.
still life, bamboo, flower arrangement, vase, watercolour, watercolor, maree clarkson, tarlton, magaliesburg, krugersdorp, gauteng, south africa
I am a watercolorist living on my little piece of African soil in Tarlton, Gauteng, South Africa. The inspiration for my art is the wonderfully rich variety of Fauna and Flora to be found throughout this beautiful country.

A delightful combination of two of my favourite people. I love this. When we were first married, in the early 60s bamboo was all the rage and we had wallpaper with bamboo patterns on it. I still think it makes the most lovely images and this is one of them. Love it. Alma xx
And favs from two of my favourite people! Thanks for that Alma! and we also had a Bamboo=print wallpaper, had it for AGES!
