Hello Robin Red Breast.
How do you do?
Sitting on the fence watching me,
as I look out at you.
You sing such a pretty song,
and I know it won’t be long,
till the warm weather comes along.
Then I can come out and listen to you
since you seem to like having me near.
So your wonderful chirping sounds
will be easier for me to hear.
You are so friendly and faithful
that you come by every year.
It is strange how you know, exactly when to appear!

Season’s Greetings to everybody and may these holidays be full of joy, inspiration and more than you could ever wish for!
Every year I design a couple of Christmas cards, painting them on card size watercolour paper and sending them off to family and friends. But it seems the tradition of sending out Christmas cards is a dying one, as most people I talk to say they don’t send any cards any more. A pity, because there is nothing more pleasurable than receiving a card in the post with some beautifully handwritten message of cheer…
