Watercolour on Bockingford 300gsm – Size 20″ × 20″
During the Cosmos season, which stretches from November to March here in South Africa, every conceivable vase in my house is filled with them. Here I placed them in a large blue enamel cooking pot as I had picked so many next to the road-side that al my vases were full!
cosmos, flowers, maree clarkson, south africa, still life, tarlton, magaliesburg, krugersdorp, gauteng, blue, vase, watercolour, watercolor, pot
I am a watercolorist living on my little piece of African soil in Tarlton, Gauteng, South Africa. The inspiration for my art is the wonderfully rich variety of Fauna and Flora to be found throughout this beautiful country.
