Dusk's Sky

Til winds of time sweep us to dusk’s sky
We will ride flying through sand expanse. An ungraspable wonder.

Intricate Byzantine arches, swirling lines in fingerprint galaxies
Fit our fingertips exact.

We slide on lifelines entwined thorough imaginations of desert grain –
A thousand golden gleaming lights
Blaze to stars –
Blow to dusk’s sky.

Through sands, then skies, we ride resounding in bounds that leap
Light-white in faith, till hushing darkness descends:

I unfold your hand to witness the patterned plan of life.
