Strength of Winter

Today’s inspiration comes from this photo shared by Stephen Thomas
The Sun’s Splitting the Clouds

Thank you Stephen!

Strength of Winter belongs to the following groups:

"Exceptional Ekphrasis", Feminine Intent (LIMIT TWO IMAGES PER DAY) and The Word Tree

There is a thin line where the earth touches the sky.

A hint at eternity in a moment passes by.

A scene that proves the sum of all color is white.

And the parting of the storm shines with light.

With a deep breath, fear and hope collide.

It is the strength of winter I hold deep inside.

I felt alot of emotion when I saw your photo –
fear and hope collide was the first thing I thought.

Great capture and expansion of the photo. It’s so concise and poignant. Not rambly at all. And how do I know you? (just jealous)

  • Mardra replied

I felt so much emotion when I looked at the photo, I surprised myself with how short the final effect turned out to be.
I think I’ve been there – my soul or my imagination, which I’m not sure.
