Someone said a similar thing about my ex boyfriend. I was telling her about something he did recently and she looked at me and said ‘oh, well he’s a dickhead’. It was such a relief to realise that I didn’t have to agonise anymore about why someone would act the way he did. Suddenly it was very simple. He’s a dickhead, no further explanation needed. So thanks Mardra, I enjoyed your piece and your advice too. Breathe deep and then move away :)

It’s true, isn’t it? Sometimes we agonize over people’s actions and reactions when, fact is, it really is them and not us.
