Just offshore at Chiavari: Skimming the sea for water to help douse a major fire somewhere in the mountains behind me. It looked an incredibly dangerous thing to do, requiring exceptional judgement and flying skill. Fortunately no one was swimming that far out to get sucked up, this time! Or so I think!

NOw they’ve done it!!! A Yellow plane! I must have one – in Yellow of course – sad bit is these things are so loud! Bet they’d sell more of ’um if they were quieter – but what would be the fun in that? Bewdy of a pix ~:0) VivaChas!
Excellent shot Marc. Welcome to the Aeronautics & Aviation Group. – Ted
