Each element is fascinating – each piece leading to another in a seamless weave… Oh, my!

  • Thanks , margot, what a great comment! the execution of this was the product of one of these moments of grace when, you don’t know how but, it is as if you were taking a dictatation, you just do a sequence of actions in a totally precise way without almost any thinking about it! quite miraculous (that’s my perception of the process)

[ can you see this large as a framed poster on an orangey / peachy wall? ]

  • Oh, yes, you’ve captured the spirit of it! Have you heard of a Spanish film director called Almodovar) he is well-known internationally), well, I think this may fit quite well the spirit and aesthetics of some of his films, and an orangey wall would definitely be the right choice.

    Really Beautiful composition Maraia…….!!

  • Hello, Franck, so glad you like it… sometimes a composition just “composes” itself as it happened here, that’s really a great sensation of flowing with the work. :) thanks for the comment and the fav.

Yes, yes! I know of Almodovar, the man and the place! Near Cordoba on the Guadalquivir River, no? Sorry to say, I see few films, but have been in the castle. Serendipity! I wanted to live in Cordoba… ;) I can see how a soft orange would work nicely and I have the space…
