Solitude
A solitary bench overlloking the beach at Urangan, Hervey Bay, Queesland, Australia. The massive Moreton Bay fig trees take on an almost sinister guise…

it doesn’t feel sinister to me Manta, it looks like it would watch over the soul of the person who might sit at this bench. It looks like somewhere I would like to be….......by the look of that sky the view is wonderful…...........

Thank you Karen – pleased you like it. Only a few metres in front of that seat is the beach. A small wall and the pristine waters of Hervey Bay open up to you. It is a magic place. However, low tide when this shot was taken meant for a less than picturesque shot, so I crouched down to improve the composition. Now, I suppose, the view ahead could be whatever anyone imagines it to be.

Yep and that’s its magic. I agree with Karen – the tree as watcher and carer. I love this shots simplicity and spirit. Nice one.
