Beautiful shot! That little lady bird looks so at home there! How did you get this so soft? :))
Thanks Rachael, Just rechecked the exif on this shot.I normally take several shots using different aperture settings for comparisons. This was taken with an aperture setting of 5, to get as much of the ladybird in focus as I could with the available light.Mandy :)

Fantastic Mandy….fabulous image.
Thank you very much Lynn :)
Great shot…so sweet…I guess just the US calls them ladybugs!!! We have to be odd LOL :-)
Thanks Eastsider, well, we tend to call them ladybugs too, which I think is a sweet name for them.Mandy:)

What a beauty..great shot.
Thanks so much :)
is this bug for real??? It looks like a toy ladybird. Great shot!
Thanks Taschja, he’s for real and such a find in the garden today . Was intending to take just some flower shots but spotted the lady bug. I hear they are becoming rarer in the UK, this was the only one I saw today too. It would be awful if they disappeared.Mandy :)
