What happens to the view, when you turn your back.by Manda Ward
The title says it all really – I was at Trebah, a local garden beauty spot (and it IS beautiful), and did one sketch of what was in front of me, then turned round, lay on my stomach and looked at the view with the back of my head.
Thank you Rebecca. Your work is very interesting to me – I love texture and texture contrast, and strive to find it in all my work – recently I’ve been exploring landscape possibilities using needlefelting (some examples are on my blog http://mandaward.blogspot.com) and I’m looking forward to exploring this painting through the felting technique too.
I really like your felt landscapes, they’re very impressive I particularly like the skies, perhaps combining both the felt and paint might be interesting?
