Thank you Jeremy – I love to explore the mark making process – actually scratching the surface I’m painting on, adding more pigment, scratching when wet, scratching when dry, using a variety of tools to do it with – my favourite is a scalpel – gives a nice clean, fine line – rather apt, given your profession!
