Winter Church
Granite church towers nestling into the landscape. I have no idea why they appeal to me so much – maybe there’s something Freudian in it!

oooh just love this ~ you have such talent ~ this one holds the feeling of winterscape and dreamscape together ~ that church through the mist ~ all so well done xx

Thank you Linda – there is something of dreams in this one – it’s a half remembered half imagined landscape drawn from a glimpse you get of a little local church on the road to Truro from Falmouth in Cornwall – to be really honest – I don’t even know which church it is! I really should find out (note to self – FIND OUT!) – or maybe it doesn’t really exisit at all and I just imagine I see it every time we drive past (?!!?)

there you are ~ an ocean away from me ~ yet the tiny town of Truro and larger one of Falmouth ~ are both so familiar to me of a life long love of Cape Cod, MA :) whether you’ve brushed it alive from experience or memory ~ it is so very beautiful! xx

Beautiful! Yes, Freud would probably see this all as pubic hair and penis envy; but, then, he liked to have long, tubular things stuck in his mouth, so that he could suck on them all day long and, yet, never saw that as homosexual.
So much for Freud!
This is a gorgeous piece, and I will be watching you now, as it makes 2 out 2 that I’ve seen!
