Unwanted Angel
Suffer the little children
Too many Abused Children in this world
Quiet child
Meek and mild
Sits forlorn
Innocent pawn
Mothers scorn
Brushed aside
Can’t hide
Vacant stare
Nightmare
Threadbare
Silent cries
Pleading eyes
Doesn’t squeal
Can’t feel
Won’t heal
Drunk mum
Hungry tum
No embrace
Dirty face
Sad place
Angry mother
Doesn’t bother
Heart of stone
Harsh tone
Dad unknown
tagbruns
reality

Sounds like many mothers out there, I think you hit it right on key. Maybe they will read and understand what drinking is doing to them. Really brings the point across and to the point, nice job.
Kristina K

A harsh visual, sad but true for far too many innocent ones but maybe someone will read your words see themselves in them and make a change.

In my nieces primary school in NZ they are teaching kids about inappropriate behaviour and what to do if it happens. Awareness isnt a lot to ask. Thanks for looking people!

ah… got you, I’m a bit slow on the uptake. ;-) This is a beautiful interpretation of an ugly situation. I used to teach sexually abused kids… experience goes a long way towards qualifying a person to help out others…
ManaMoon
it takes a whole lotta strength to deal with it & even more to teach innocents who have been brought up to think that is normal life. that can be a melting heart moment for anyone. i knew you had a soft centre!
JenniferB
