The Cloak of God

Letting Go of a Loved one
Ushering them on their Journey

The Cloak of God belongs to the following groups:

All Things Poetic, Artistic, Philosophical, New Zealand Made and The Healing Journey

When the cloak of god
Gently strokes your face
Do not be afraid my dear
He wants you in his embrace

He leads you to his Garden
Where there is peace of mind
And every soul is joyful
And clouds are silver lined

Where meadows of luscious green
and beautiful gardens grow
waters of the deepest blue
the sun a golden glow

And all the soothing waters
Are both comforting and calm
The purity of Gods love
Shelters you from harm

Don’t be afraid to let go
When your time on earth is done
For you will rise again
Just like the morning sun

Go gracefully my darling
From this sorrow and this pain
And know we hold you dearly
For your spirit will remain

I pray that when it’s my turn
You will wait upon the shore
To gather me up in your arms
And love me ever more

Let your spirit fly now
And soar into the skies
We cannot keep you here
God awaits his prize
