living and dead quiver trees in the setting Namibian sun by

Quiver trees are indigenous and endemic to the hot and dry southern part of Namibia and Namaqualand in South Africa. the trunk and branches can be easily hollowed out, they were used by the local San hunters to make quivers for their arrows, giving its name to this tree. The tree only blossoms for the first time after 20 to 30 years and can easily reach 300 years of age.

Thanks once again Dania. I have visiters from South Africa coming tomorrow so I won’t be so active on RB for the next couple of weeks. Thanks again and have a great week.
