    Great capture and color! What type of animal is it?

  • Many thanks Michele. This is an ancient Scottish breed of cattle. Unfortunately for them, they are bred for their high beef quality which is leaner than other breeds as they depend more on their shaggy hair than fat for protection against the cold.
