Groot Constantia is a very important historic building in South Africa. It was built by Simon von der Stel who named it after his wife who remained in Holland. Hendrik Cloete took it over at the end of the 18th century. He and his descendants brought the art of viticulture to perfection which reflects in the world famous wines produced here.

For all you South Africans out there…. no, this is not the original which I have also visited, (the clue being in the dasies) but a 1: 25 scaled model in the Mini Mundus Park near Lake Constance in Germany. The quality of the model buildings here is absolutely amazing and very detailed. Chinning the grass for the right POV, makes it very realistic.
