Nikon P 90

Egyptian Vulture (Neophron percnopterus)
One of the few birds to use stones as a tool. They use them to open ostrich eggs by lifting a stone with its beak and hitting the egg by swinging it’s head and neck. They also eat small animals and insects and being a vulture, they scavenge as well.

Top Ten Challenge Winner in the BIRDS – black, white or 2 tone black and white in the group ‘All Naturally BLACK/ WHITE, DUO and CONTRAST’ April 2010
