A European Mouflon (Ovis orientalis musimon (Pallas, 1811) male in Switzerland.
A type of sheep, infact they could even crossbreed with sheep. Unlike some of the deer family, they keep their horns which keep on growing. This image was taken in Goldau which is situated on the southern shores of Lake Zug and is surrounded by large mountains. I took the shot in an area which consists of 17 hectares of natural wilderness. The animals walk freely between the enormous rock formations.
