Ahala Nui Beach Park
aka the hot pond, located 10 miles east of pahoa town in puna hawaii. the water is heated by underground lava tubes all through the pond you can find places where the hot water is coming up from the floor of the pond like little springs. it’s a wonderful place to visit when you come to the big island
