We all live in a yellow caboose
I left the office early, hoping to catch glimpse of a large elk herd spending the winter near town. They weren’t about, so I went for a drive and came across this scene, which I like better than the pictures I might have gotten of elk, anyway.
Who needs nature when you have reflective cabooses?

talk about being in the right place at the right time! first, you don’t see many cabooses’ anymore, but to get one in the snow with that reflection, my god, it just doesn’t get any better. i’ll have to link this to member Rod Adams a fellow train buff.

Well Adrian, I admit I had to use Google to decide if that was a compliment (I need to brush up on my British slang!) but thank you!

JK, I very nearly drove right through that puddle, but when the reflection hit me I pulled to the side and grabbed the camera. I actually live very near a historic steam engine railroad—I’ll most likely add several more train-related photographs. Glad you enjoy the shot!
