Swimmers

Taken in Shi-cha-hai park, film. As is.

Swimming in lakes in the city was usually not allowed. But it’s said some association of swimmers negotiated with the park and gained the right to swim there.

Swimmers belongs to the following groups:

As Is, Sports Photography, Street Photography and Photojournalism and WATER SPORTS & ACTIVITIES

Nice capture in mid flight, I like how the other people are looking on in antisapation. Is he going to belly flop into the water or is he going to hit the side of the lake !!

Thank you very much, Glenn! He was going to belly flop into the water. The water is not deep enough for diving. He was very skillful. He sang, standing on the railing, then flew… Cheers!

Fantastic capture, does look like a belly-flop about to happen.
Here you’d get arrested…a few years ago you’d die from the polution.
Nowadays our rivers have almost recovered completely from all the industrial waste, dumped into them over the past 200 years. Mother Nature can be very forgiving :))

Thank you so much, HarrietRN! When he hit the water he splashed so much water around him, I didn’t notice if he ducked his head. But I won’t learn this tecnique. :)

    Cheers!

Thank you very much, Umbra101! Here the water is usually dirty. I saw some dead fish floating in another part of this lake. And water hyacinths cover a large portion of its surface.
