After me!
Taken two days ago, film. Peasant workers of both sexes were struggling trying to get on the bus before others.
Beijingers usually can wait in line to get on the bus. But many peasants and people from small towns disregard this rule. The municipal government sometimes has to place uniformed people at bus stations to remind them to wait in line. It also announced the 11th of every month in Beijing is the “voluntarily wait in line” day.

nice background story. i travelled through china in 2003 and back then queuing wasn´t introduced to the people. it was hard not to be pissed off with them. but once i had managed, it became quite fun. other funny thing was, that they never kept a distance when i cashed in checks. they always stood left and right and had a look at my details.
