This 1941 Chevrolet Stake Bed farm truck watches over the V Sattui vineyard in Napa Valley. Trucks like this were used to haul harvested grapes, carry farm supplies, and transport workers to and from Northern California farms and vineyards.
If this old truck could talk it’s stories would undoubtedly span WWII, the Korean War, and Vietnam, and cover the lives of countless migrant workers and farmers building a life from the fertile Napa valley soil. It’s good to see this “old man” sitting in a place of honor at V Sattui.
I hope you enjoy this print as much as I enjoyed the creative process and bringing it to you.
