This is an image I created in photoshop. The Aurora Borealis is in my opinion one of the most beautiful sights in the world and is something I would love to photograph. It is also called the Northen Lights although the correct translation from latin is Northen Dawn.
Aurora Borealis is caused by particles from solar winds meeting with the earths atmosphere. This creates all the patterns and colours which can be observed.
