In Loving Memory Of Lyn by Sarah ORourke

Currently unavailable for purchase

Graphite, coloured pencil & pastels on A4 150gsm cartridge

This is in memory of my beautiful Aunty Lyn, who sadly passed away with breast cancer in March of this year.

I did this for my Uncle & cousins, i gave them the original, matted & framed in an ornate, bronze frame… fitting in perfectly with Lyn’s treasured buddha statues & love of all things Balinese.

My Aunty had the most amazing spirit… although she ultimately lost her cancer battle, in many ways she never let the illness beat her… she always remained strong & positive… she was so full of life & was far too young to leave this earth. She was & remains one of greatest sources of inspiration in all i do.

Since her diagnosis Lyn became very active in fundraising for both the National Breast Cancer Foundation & The McGrath foundation holding Pink Ribbon events & doing what she could …if you have the time or a few coins to spare, their websites are worth taking the time to visit.
