Salvador Domingo Felipe Jacinto Dalí was born on May 11, 1904 . He was a prominent Spanish Catalan surrealist painter, influenced by Sigmund Freud’s ideas about dream interpretations and the subconscious.
Not only an exceptional painter, but also a sculptor, designer, writer and graphic artist. In 1929, he became a member of the Surrealist movement and quickly made a name for himself as one of the most famous members of the Surrealists.
His most famous works include The persistence of memory (or Melting Clocks); Fried eggs on a plate without the plate; The Face of Mae West which may be used as an apartment and Woman with a head of roses. 1183 views as at 14th Oct 2011
