An aerial capture of Gemsbuck in the process of re-locating.
When our hunting-season comes to closing time, over populated animals gets re-located to other nature reserves or game-farms.
This only happens, with certain species, if we had a very succesfull breeding season.
This is done to prevent over polulation and to maintain a good balance in the ecologial system.
It is done by building temporary bomas with sliding curtains, as in the additional capture, animals are gathered, with the use of a helicopter, and steered to the large boma. The boma closes with sliding curtains in phases behind them where it ends in a narrow passage that leads them into the parked vehicles that transport them to relocated destinations.
