CAPTURED LOCATION: THE KRUGER NATIONAL PARK, South Africa.

I was on my way from Skukuza Restcamp to Lower Sabie Restcamp when I witnessed the “kill”. Unfortunately it happened in a river-bed whith to many obstructions to do a shoot, once fed they moved up right next to the road where I managed to get a few shots. He was so close that I could see his stomach< that looks like ticks, was grass seeds stuck to his belly. Just look at the size of his stomach, could see that he was very uncomfortable, that’s why he is lying on his back. The one lying right in front, right bottom corner of the capture, was also lying on his back. They were so close that I just could not get them both in on one shot.
I was born and still live in Africa.

Well photographed….I’d give anything to be able to see lions at will. The wildlife round here is a bit tame compared to yours.
