I want to thank group members, for their patience, friends, for words of comfort and last but not the least, co-hosts for their hard work and help in my absence the past three months here on Red bubble.

After 12 years of fighting cancer, I lost my husband on the 17th of January 2013.
I learned that there are things in life we don’t want to happen that we have to ACCEPT; things we do not know that we must LEARN; and people without whom we cannot live, but we need to LET GO.

I am so thankful to know that I still have all my wonderful friends here at Red bubble where there are so much beauty, comfort and understanding.

Maggie. horrible the things people have to go through…To fight this dreaded disease and loose is hard on everyone..such pain. and then the loved ones and their pain of trying to go forward. I am so sorry Maggie, that your Daniel had to go through this. And I know it just sounds cliche, but I am glad he is not suffering any more. I pray that your suffering the after math will be less daily…but never to forget you were loved and happy. He looks like such a great guy in this pic.
    on my heart….Di

My dear Maggie – what words can I say to help you through this time. They all seem so inadequate. You have been through so much but may you find some comfort in knowing that people are thinking of you and care about you, and that you will always have your happy memories. This wonderful photo of Daniel is one of them! Please take care of yourself, be kind to yourself and I send a big hug from Australia to you and your family. X

  • Thank you so much for your wonderful words of comfort Lynda, hugs Maggie

Ah.. so sorry to hear about your loss. I pray that God’s peace will cover you as you go through this time of grieving. I lost both parents to cancer, my mother at age 36, (I was 17 at the time)who left 6 children behind and my father, who passed away at age 72 with a terrible bladder cancer that took him in 6 short months. My heart goes out to you.. blessings and hugs!!
