THE AFRICAN ELEPHANT:
CAPTURED: KRUGER NATIONAL PARK, SOUTH AFRICA, DECEMBER 2007.

I CAPTURED THIS IMAGE OF THE “AFRICAN ELEPHANT” TO REPORT A CUT ON THE “TRUNK” OF THIS ELEPHANT CAUSED BY, I BELIEVE, A “SNARE” SET UP BY POACHERS.

absolutely royal – so handsome and what an ugly cut!! I hate snares in any form – all of my images are taken when I am out with the dogs and I worry both about the wild and the domestic animals. This is gorgeous and heartbreaking. Great image, mags.
