Wonderland

Words like gold dust
sounds like snow flakes
just a feather touch
no reason
no rhyme

An explosive taste
on your tongue
lingering briefly
sometimes so bitter
sometimes oh-so sweet

Shards of colour
blown in on the wind
through a shutter
snatched away
by a gentle breeze

Fragments of a tale
unfolded by a sigh
never fathom
the beginning
nor the end

a small segment
of the mystery
a spoonful of magic
a drop of black fear
and an ocean of want

Warm glow of desire
shivers of pain or
trembling dread
left like a mint
on your pillow

I often have very vivid dreams and wish I could continue the dream to its end but too often I am snatched out of the dream… :-(

This is the mini series to accompany the poem:

MCN: CJ6WD-2DJ1X-8NMEM

I am a very creative person and it’s my way of dealing with the world, inside and out. I am only happy when I am making things or painting or writing. There are just not enough hours in the day…. I am into poetry and photo manipulation at the moment and also dabbling in photography. :-)

I would call it….“worldiland”….you see how much there, many do not know the real value ot words, leaving the effect just upon a practical need of communication. There is more, and you have been able to extract a meaning that is a religious experience, with a sensual rootness in our Soul and Flesh. I love your poem, Sybille….it is beautiful.

  • Thank you so much Rosa. :-)
