It’s a tee. It’s a dress. It’s the new Graphic T-shirt Dress.

Serial Killer

You build your idol
Thought by idle thought
You create her out of nothing
Just dream by desire by wishing need
You paint her pretty
Adding detail here and there
You put her on a pedestal
high, high above the rest.

You adore your goddess
the one you made
from idle thoughts
and not much of anything
just dream and desire and wishing need.

The woman
behind the gauze
the patches of colour
the strokes of detail
the glimmers of hope
cannot be seen
by your eyes only
she doesn’t exist
is never really there.

Once she writhes
and struggles
to force the bonds
that hold her
the ones you strangled her with
just dream by desire by wishing need
once they fall
and reveal her in her beauty
her true self
the real her

you cut her
you knife her
you punish her
for destroying
the dream, the desire, the wishing need

you pull her down
from her lofty heights
you tear her to pieces
and blame her:

Why wouldn’t you stay
my dream, my desire, my wishing need?
