perfection from a brush
hides the beauty from within
fairy tales and clichés on TV
make our lives seem lacking in reality
riches and material goods
obscure the need for philosophy
corruption and deception celebrated by a bonus
make morality and ethics seem unnecessary.
Nothing is as it seems, nothing at all.
Everything
is spin and twisted,
turned into reality TV
is technicolour in your face,
a soap made of our lives
is truth hidden in plain sight
too obscure to be seen in all the hype
is emptiness filled with nothing
hot air in a bright red balloon.
Nothing is as it seems, nothing at all.
Nothing.

I am a very creative person and it’s my way of dealing with the world, inside and out. I am only happy when I am making things or painting or writing. There are just not enough hours in the day…. I am into poetry and photo manipulation at the moment and also dabbling in photography. :-)

Cant watch tv now …it irritate the hell out of me…..Oh I must not fib I have watched a few programs that I like but total escapism with a capital E and I so knew that was the deal.
We must be on a similar theme me thinks Sybille as over the last few weeks I have seen different kinds of really insincere sucking up and one of them was in the name of making a sale….( nothin to do with RB,,,just to be very clear)
So I do understand this shake of your head at the gloss and goop we have around us today….xxx
