Like a leaf
towards the ground
merging with the moist brown soil.
Listening to worms sing,
into the black velvety night of space.
Black holes beckoning,
Playing hide and seek with the Milky Way,
Loosing myself in a meteorite shower,
Particles of me along a line of golden light.
A brief flash and glimmer on re-entry,
Sweet nothing, just like glitter in the atmosphere.
