the message (poem)

girl under the mountain
singing your purple song
the spark almost gone
as darkness settles in
for that forever embrace
to hold you gently
in its velvet arms

there is no escape
unless that call reaches
the blue blue clouds
far up in the sky
where the birds soar
and the sun and stars
hold court for the moon

to entwine with the
celestial rhythm
the cymbals, and
the drums of Thor
a message carried
by two ravens
Memory and Sorrow

their black rustling wings
like arrows to a heart
straight and true before
the black curtain falls
putting out that spark
and leaving nothing
but the gaping dark.

Came to me with a picture, see here:

Sometimes we all feel like we’re buried alive and we’re calling and no one hears.
