The ‘button heart’ was a Christmas present made by me for a friend. It’s about 10 inches square and took roughly 2 1/2 hours to make. All the buttons are threaded onto a wire frame with very thin pink wire, finally, I added a teal organza ribbon.
The title has its origins in a song by Paloma Faith called Broken Doll. You can listen to it below.

I loved the lyrics of this song and the heart seemed to me the perfect representation of all that’s still good inside us even if ‘we are damaged goods’. :-)
