This was an experiment with a heart cut out from some packaging material and a ribbon. I love the magic feel this has. :-) Just right for the first blush of love.

There is some sort of indoctrinatiion going on in literature, film and advertising – this is the feeling we all want, which we are shown is what we should get, but it rarely is like that. Life gets in the way and we try to hold on to this dream, this ideal of romantic love we are meant to achieve somehow, although the details on the ‘how’ are rather vague. I think this affects women probably far more than men and makes me wonder how many good relationships never get off the ground because our expectations are set too high or maybe just too unrealistic – a figment of the imagination of the advertisers and movie makers on what women want?
