Collaboration with Michelle Smith, Michellerena for Mission Monday

The image was inspired by my son who told me “that I was even more childish than his friends at school”. This pleased me as it means I haven’t lost the magic altogether… :-)

I used Michelle’s image in a diptych. This image is my part of the diptych, however, I used Michelle’s image as a texture in my part for continuity.

I am a very creative person and it’s my way of dealing with the world, inside and out. I am only happy when I am making things or painting or writing. There are just not enough hours in the day…. I am into poetry and photo manipulation at the moment and also dabbling in photography. :-)

This is fabulous Sybille – a great collaboration for sure – but there’s something about your words that makes it all very real for me! Just gorgeous work!

  • Thank you so much Lianne. I think it’s so important to keep dreaming, to keep something of the inner child alive through all our trials and tribulations. :-) xoxoxo

  • Thank you so much Tori. I loved my son’s comment too. It’s good to know I can still be silly and childish! An achievement…to be proud of! :-) xo

someone gave me this qoute once to reassure me and I don’t know where it comes from but love it…“those that seem idle to the view often the most business do”. In a world that these days worships “doing”,just “being” and “dreaming” can sometimes be underated.Thankyou for giving this “business” its rightful honorable position.:)

  • Thank you so much for the lovely comment. So very true. I do my best work whilst dreaming… :-) xoxox
