Inspired by Shakespeare’s Midsummer Night’s Dream. My favourite of all his plays. :-)

Second illustration in my Shakespeare Heroines collection.

See Juliet

Titania has always been my favourite. Here’s a quote to set the stage:

I know a bank whereon the wild thyme blows,
Where oxlips and the nodding violets grows
Quite over-canopied with luscious woodbine,
With sweet muck- roses, and with eglantine:
There sleeps Titania some time of the night
Lull’d in these flowers with dances and delight.

I am a very creative person and it’s my way of dealing with the world, inside and out. I am only happy when I am making things or painting or writing. There are just not enough hours in the day…. I am into poetry and photo manipulation at the moment and also dabbling in photography. :-)

I love the colours….this combination is one of my most favorite.
This is the kind of romance that has an innate beauty me thinks..xx

  • Thank you so much. I wanted this series to have a pre-raphaelite feel to it. Green and purple works really well for that. :-) xoxo

Wow Syb – this is just so stunning I’m going to run out of words. Not that I don’t find myself repeating myself with each new image and poem anyway but I’d love to find a way to express in some new profound way just how gorgeous this is. Tatiana has never been portrayed more beautifully! These colors are beyond glorious!

  • LOL Thank you so much Lianne. Your comments always make me smile. I love the magic and mystery of Titania and her strong personality. xoxo
