I am a very creative person and it’s my way of dealing with the world, inside and out. I am only happy when I am making things or painting or writing. There are just not enough hours in the day…. I am into poetry and photo manipulation at the moment and also dabbling in photography. :-)

Love her – story/dream weaver – well done. An instant fave. The web sort-of reminds me of a dream-catcher? I like the way you have the web hanging as if from a loom? Clever and talented. ;o) I am curious – how long does it take you on average to complete something like this? Do you see the idea in your mind or does it develop a mind of it’s own? Oh – whatever the answer – I love your work.

  • Thank you. :-)

It takes me from a few hours (very few images are like that) to a few days, depends really how well it goes and how much detail there is. With some images I have an idea in my head (and manage to stick to the idea), with others they just develop, but with each and everyone there are surprises along the way, which I hadn’t anticipated when I started. :-)

It’s indeed a loom which I painted in Corel Painter togher with the strung web. I just added the texture patches for the “tapestry” effect in PS. If you’re interested I can add a picture of just the loom and the web to the description. :-)

    Glad you like… xo

  • Thank you Anna. :-) I am so pleased I discovered photo manipulations as I am having so much fun with it. :-) Just added the original painting of the loom – I based it on a weighted loom. xo
