Crows, magpies and ravens are my favourite birds. I love the fact they’re intelligent and don’t get me started on the shivers that run down my back when I hear the expression ‘a murder of crows’. For me there’s just something compelling about the birds of the corvidae family and there are so many stories about them. For me they represent wisdom, knowledge, intelligence and an ‘in-betweenness’ – they are messengers between the spirit world and those of us having to walk the earth (rather than fly). My perfect inner animal. :-)
One day last week I saw this crow sitting on my neighbour’s TV aerial. I love crows and all the birds of the crow/raven family, so I quickly took a few shots. The lighting conditions weren’t brilliant and it was high up so the photos weren’t brilliant, but with a little bit of editing magic and some of my other photos and a grunge texture from Buzillo: click here, I love the finished picture. :-) I hope you do, too.
